Use of Backpay

Backpay is a receipt scanning and return reminder utility. You are responsible for verifying return deadlines, warranty coverage, prices, retailer policies, and refund eligibility directly with the retailer.

AI and estimate disclaimer

Backpay may use AI and rule-based estimates to extract receipt details, calculate deadlines, and identify savings opportunities. These outputs are estimates only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Backpay does not guarantee that an item can be returned, exchanged, refunded, price-matched, or claimed under warranty.

Subscriptions

Backpay Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account before the renewal date. Pricing and trial availability, if any, are shown in the app before purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Backpay, interfere with the app or backend services, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content, or use the app for fraudulent return, refund, warranty, or price-match claims.

Limitation of liability

Backpay is provided as a utility and reminder tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backpay is not liable for missed deadlines, denied returns, denied warranty claims, price changes, retailer policy changes, or inaccurate AI estimates.
